JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing consulting expertise in sales, design and business strategies to dealers which will assist them in driving incremental revenue. Develops and implements dealer development programs.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Create and deliver dealer-specific sales and design solutions in support of overall channel goals and objectives. • Collaborate cross-functionally to create and deploy dealer development programs. • Develop, test and evaluate programs
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. • 5 years cabinet industry sales, business coaching and/or consultation experience with strong emphasis in selling skills and business development. • Must understand and be able to apply the principles of business consulting, particularly as it relates to small-medium businesses. • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite. • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with department, cross-functional business teams, and customers. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customers. • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills. • Excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast paced, highly visible, and changing environment. • Demonstrated successful capability to resolve conflict over sensitive or complex issues. • Ability to travel up to 50%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: • Master's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. • 10 years cabinet industry sales, business coaching and/or consultation experience with strong emphasis in selling skills and business development. • 20/20 Design software experience. • Demonstrated involvement with initiatives that have increased organizational effectiveness.
